Welcome to the Occasional Favours website, specialist supplier of wedding, christening and Holy Communion favours. Our range of unique
designs are created to complement your unique occasion, and we continually review our range to ensure we reflect the very latest
trends and fashions.
Bomboniere, or almond favours, originated in Italy centuries ago. Although primarily associated with weddings, favours are also given at christenings, First Holy Communions, anniversaries and any other special occasion. Each favour consists of five sugar coated almonds (although sugar coated chocolate dragees are an acceptable alternative) wrapped in tulles, lace or boxed. Flowers, ribbons and other items are also often added. Traditionally, bomboniere are given as keepsakes to each female guest at a celebration, although it is becoming increasingly popular to give male guests and children favours too. |
| Occasional Favours
